The Earth is under attack by shadowy invaders! Ready your ship for combat!

• Don't let even a single enemy reach the Earth, or it will be destroyed.
• Defeat enemies to gain experience & level up.
• After losing, your experience points are converted into "Skill" points, which you can spend on various upgrades for future runs.
• Keep getting stronger, & try to survive as many waves as possible!

Controls:

• Use WASD or the arrow keys to move
• Aim using the mouse, and fire with left-click

Notes:

• Game created as part of GDKO 2025 (Round 1)
  • Core Mechanic: shooting & defeating enemies to gain EXP.
  • Secondary Mechanic: upgrading your ship with accumulated EXP points, to grow stronger.
• There isn't really an end-state for this game. If you can beat round 5 or 6, you've pretty much accomplished all you can, although you can keep going if you want (things may start getting crazy after that point).
